Behavioural Researcher / Child & Family Practitioner / Mentoring Professional
Alfred G. Grant, a behavioral sciences professional, served in the United States Marine Corps, before retiring as a highly decorated Gunnery Sergeant. His educational qualifications include; MS in Psychology degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis, MS in Studies in Human Behavior, BSc in Psychology, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis) all from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
He has completed research work, aided by the Australian Government Department of Human Services (Services Australia). Past behavioral support projects involved the preparation of young applicants for military service and serving as an educator for children with autism. He has worked as a youth worker for young people in juvenile detention, a research and compliance officer, a child protection officer, for Child and Youth Protection Services - Australian Capital Territory (ACT) government, and as a Child and Family Practitioner in support of the Queensland Department of Child Safety.
Currently, as a private practitioner, he provides behavioural and therapeutic crisis intervention supports for clients, throughout Australia.
